Introduction

'Le Gymnase' is a Protestant Educational Group, and its bilingual program benefits from the official support of local French municipal, regional and business promotion authorities.

The main purpose of BISS is to provide a suitable international and bilingual English-French educational opportunity for children living in the Strasbourg area. Based on the successful and innovative "Paritaire bilingue franco-allemand", this model is unique in France and has the full support of the French Ministry of Education.

BISS is currently in its seventh year of operation.

The school is housed within and shares all the campus facilities of the well-established, private and prestigious Lucie Berger school, founded in 1876. It is therefore a ‘school-within-a-school’, creating a reciprocal cultural and language-enriching opportunity for all students.
